"For Gas Patch Native:   Early drilling essentially was done with Cable Tool Rigs. These were simple drilling rigs that look as though they might have been designed by Rube Goldberg. The Cable Tool Rig used gravity to drill, the bit was…"

"Yes, this has been a good conversation.  I laugh everytime I read the reply from Marcus about your math.  But Dan, this is a good question because everyone is focused on the area two counties wide that border the eastern state…"

"If there is a structure in place it's a hell of a big one. These 2 monster wells are about 15 miles apart. What's in between and beyond? I would think that seismic has improved since the 1990's when Cgas and David Hill hit the…"

"Right, and there are how many more like that one?  Two?  Six?  These monstrous conventional wells happen and they're a coup for everyone involved, but you cannot rely on that as an example of what production can be…"

"Regardless of your aunts genitals the well produced about 240,000 bbl of oil over a 16.5 year period. I used today's $95.00 oil price. It's a heck of a well no matter how you want to spin this! Geez! BTW it's still producing right now."

Tell us your story...
I've been visiting for a year now, and Devon is currently drilling in my area in ashland county. I have also been actively contacting my ajoining neighbors to find out what they think and how we as a group should organize. Most of the info I aquired was right here. All my neighbors and I were contacted about year ago and many held off signing. Some of us have lived here for years and many moved here for the country.

Hi Dan, got your message just fine.  I joined our local land group and I know the leaders spend lots of time and energy.  We are all being patient and hoping for the best.  The lease is more important than the signing bonus and royalties are where the serious money is for a productive well. I wish you well and am here as a resource.
