H3 owns about 25,000 net acres of Marcellus and Utica. About one half is leased, and the other half is avalable for lease.
H3 is also willing to sell up to a one half interest interest in the total acreage owned of about 25,000 net acres.

We signed a lease in Oct 2011 and have not received any money. They want us to sign an extension. Has anyone received any money from Carrizzo and has anyone had any thoughts on signing the extension. Also there wer 3 old oil leases on the property and we were told to have an outside attorney clear these. They are from 79, 80, 81 and were only good for a year. Looks like that company went bankrupt and no oil wells were there. Thanks

We signed a lease in Oct 2011 and never received payment. We have been asked to sign an extension. Has anyone who signed with carrizzo received any money and are others signing the extensions. Any thoughts out there. We also had a oil and gas lease from 1979 1980 &1981 on our property and we were told we need to get an attorney even though those leases were only for one year. Any information would be appreciated

We have been approached by Aguila corp. to conduct geophisical operations in our area of northern Washington county.I was wandering if or what fees are being paid to anyone for per acre as they list it as recorded source and receiver lines and minimum entry fees.

We were in the middle of negotiating a lease with DPS and were just about to close our deal when out of the blue we were told that everything is pulled off the table. The landman is telling us that Cheaspeak is no longer accepting contracts/leases from anyone and all deals are off. If you are not recorded all deals are off. He told us if we want we can start from the begining only the new contracts are very limited and offer very little money.
Can anyone please shed…

We own property in Chalk Hill where testing was to have been done twice. Haven't heard anything more. Does anyone have any knowledge of this area? Is it possible to contact Marcellus to ask questions?

OK,
Its getting close to signing time. We have been talking with Shell/Long (with some frustrations) since last summer and we are getting close to a deal (I think). We have property about 20 miles east of the Ohio line and right on the Mercer/Lawrence co. line about 3 miles from the Grove City Outlet malls.
The big questions are.
1 - Are we wet or dry gas? So we know our negotiating clout.
2 - Who else should we be talking…

I signed a marcellus lease with Tanglewood Exploration for my 127 acres in Greene County. All was good until they put the well/frac pit on my property and will not pay me for it as the lease states. The lease states: If the well/frac pit are on any part of your property you get paid. Tanglewood is saying that the site is only on 80% of my property and want to deduct 20% of the payment. They won't even pay me for the trees they cut! Needless to say, I would never sign a lease with this…

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
