I am part of a company that is looking to invest in Southwest PA. We have patented water treatment technology and are looking in Westmoreland county for available land.  I would like to know what information is out there about frak water. Details like volume of water, location of wells, chemicals used would be most helpful!

Question for ya, our family property in SW PA has ponds that spill over with suface water continuely.. I am wondering about enlarging their Size to create more volume.. Can you point me in the borrect direction please? We have no livestock or fish... It would positively improve conditions for waterfowl for sure and decrease the need for transporting water for fracking if not eliminate it.

I own ~ 800 acres in north central WV and am looking into putting a wastewater treatment plant on my land for drilling companies in the area (lewis county WV). I want to know if this is a profitable adventure. Wouls also lease surface land for storage of equipment or other purposes. Need info.

One suggestion might be to look online for current textbooks used in the O&G industry. The engineers who work up the drilling, cementing and fracking programs go to school to learn how. you will find tons of useful information you seek for your new technology. Every year the Oil and Gas industry has meetings to share information on new technologies and developments, find out where and when and plan to attend. the Society for Petroleum Engineers would be a good place to start. Hope it helps!

Hi Maxwell, you will want to list your biz at shalebiz.com. We are getting ready to launch it in September, it will be a sister site to this one.
