Someone came by with a pipeline lease today but we are going to have attorney look at it to see if it is a good one. They are offering $30.00 plus $5.00 for timber damage so $35.00 per lineal foot. We talked to a neighbor and he said no one around are property is signing at that rate because they basically own the 50 ft. wide area so we cant do anything with that part of property you can built use it for nothing and we still pay the property taxes on the property we cant use. They have an attorney they are using from Columbus and they plan on getting $130.00 . The pipeline will be there forever. They want to use 2650 feet long by 50 ft. wide that's is approx. 2 acres we cant use. So don't know what we are going to do yet will call attorney tomorrow. Oh, make sure you have in pipeline lease you are not responsible for pipe etc. if the company doesn't pay for it, you may have a lien on your property if they don't pay the bill. Some people have liens on property at the courthouse because the pipe was put on their property and not paid for.
