Hi Keith, i have been out of the loop lately i was wondering if you had a new information on anything going on in the Worcester area? I check the website every now and then and i havent seen anything. Have a wonderful day and thank you.
How do you network without telling people what you do? I am not advertising a specific property, but rather a generic presentation of what I do for a living. I could understand your comment if I were to say that I was marketing a property at a specific address with XX acres and XXX square feet of building space at a specific price. Also their is a critical shortage of rail sites close-in to the heaviest areas of concentration in the Marcellus Shale Play. I don't believe that I have violated the agreement. Perhaps you and I should discuss this over the phone. I can be reached at 570-772-5976.
Looking for some opinions (if you have any) on some companies. Rexx Energy, Exco, and Talisman. I know Exco is fairly active in my area of Central PA but wanted to see what you knew of, if anything, regarding them
Thank you, and I very much look forward to contributing as well as hopefully meeting some of the group members out in Pittsburgh next week! I was enthused to see that a number in the group were of the "young professionals" age bracket as all I am surrounded by in my position are marketedly older and subsequently resistant to listening to my rhetoric about the Marcellus and aggressively pursuing it as a growth opportunity....subsequently I've been exploring the level of interest in a young professionals industrial group. This is a great medium to bring all involved from both the oil & gas professionals and landowners side together for open dialogue to keep the lines of communication open and counter the frequent negative hype.
Thanks Keith,
Like many PA land owners I've been talking/learning and thus far am unsigned. I have 230 acres mostly in Independance and Dongeal (not too far from Claysville). Range seems to be the most active in the area with CHP, Atlas, Great Lakes all showing some interest. My farm has PA gamelands on about 2/3 and it is my understanding that PA will auction off the rights but that they do not want a large footprint on their land. Time will tell how all this goes. Take care-Joe
Thank you. hubby and I live in chatham township. 2 of our neighbors have signed for a pipe line to go thru their property. nothing happening yet. have a well (6 wells and e&S stormwater unit) started 1-2 miles from us. have been taking pics almost every day. thanks for such a wonderful site. sincerely, nancy
Keith, Thanks for the welcome. I from Lackawanna Cnty, PA. I believe I joined the group. If not, I wll, but there doesn't seem to be much activity in it. The last post was in Feb. What's a gift?
Dear Keith,
I find that I have a devil of a time trying to track down previous entries/thoughts/replies. For example I was looking for entries dealing with lease addendums, and came up empty. Since I personally had added that conversation to the whole, I know it's there somewhere, and can't find it. Is this something that needs addressing in the search protocols, or is the fact that I'm just computer illiterate the issue?
Dan
Thanks--your last comment saved me a lot of time. The real estate listing said in large type "all OMG convey to buyer". When I called to confirm there was a fummy silence and then the guy said he better check to make sure. Turns out the info was wrong and the rights will not confer so my purchase is out the window. I am still actively looking for hunting land of around 100 acres with OMG rights. If any of your members know of any I am interested.
Thank again
Hi Keith - thank you for your comment and putting together a great site. As a reporter covering natural gas markets primarily in the Northeast, I certainly follow Marcellus developments closely.
Looking forward to all the materials and postings on this page,
Haik
Thanks for your comment -- I'm an expatriate Texan, from Ft. Worth, but have been engaged to a Butler county girl for a while, and just moved to the area. I'm an attorney for Right of Way Land Services, and trying to stay informed as to what's going on with the Marcellus Shale in this area.
Dear Keith,
I have a question to ask you for answers. As we know,Nitrogen Foam fracturing has been used in Barnett Shale Development during 1981-1985,Is Nitrogen Foam Fracturing using in shale gas develooment now(recent years )?Can you give me some articles.
Thank you. Now,I'm in ChongQing to attend a shale gas symposium

Dear Keith,
Thanks for the invitation, but we'll be traveling then and won't be able to attend. FYI, we're naming our current group effort "THE FRACKIN' GROUP". At least that's the initial suggestion, and we're seeking to get some
solutions to the problems presented in order to form a partnership with the O & G companies and the environmental concerned groups. Probably doomed to
failure, but we'll give it a good shot.
