Is there a way of looking up to see if you are in a unit of a well being drilled, someone told me that you can do this online but could not explain it, said it was a long process and needed windows office. Also is there a place to find a map of proposed gas pipelines?

Are you in Ohio, WV or Pennsylvania?

Ohio, Belmont county, Wayne township

go to

http://oilandgas.ohiodnr.gov (copy and paste)

then click on  Launch oil and gas well locator.

A map of Ohio counties will load and keep enlarging it ( by double clicking where you think your unit is) you eventually see laterals appear..

Play around with it and have fun.

When you get to where Canter sent you, click the small "i" at the top of the page.  This will open the identify window.  Click on the start of the well and you will get an information popup. From the information popup click on Well Summary Report Link.  At the Well Summary Report Link page you will see downloadable files.  Usually the list of people in the unit is given if there is there is a unit formed.

I see Gulfport Stronz and Perkins pads in Wayne Township and the Gulfport Duvall pad has laterals in Wayne Township
