Thanks, to my understanding they can file another temp inactive 2 year then either produce or plug. I guess they would have plugged if they didn't see potential for that well. NGO was able to secure a horizontal rig about 4 miles south to drill their horizontal Clinton well in Bethleham Twsp. Maybe they will use this pad for another shot at the Utica.

Cy, as I'm sure you know NGO has a huge foot print in Coshocton county and on average drills 12 or so Clinton wells a year there. In the past 12 months they have drilled ZERO conventional and only the one horizontal Clinton. Maybe a mid sized operation like NGO will get into the horizontal only business.

Anadarko cut NGO a check for 12.9 million as the left town. NGO is "loaded" and Artex is really loaded with cash. What they do with it is the question.

From the cooperatives 2014 presentation

" In his report to members, President and CEO Todd Ware also addressed the positive financial news of the past year. He said that even though energy sales were flat, all of the cooperative’s businesses, including propane and natural gas sales, were at or above budget. The year’s comprehensive income of $17.1 million was higher than the $12.5 of 2012, and 2013’s equity of 5.6 percent was above the -1.1 percent of 2012. The major reason for the increase was a $12.9 million termination payment made by Anadarko E & P Onshore when it pulled out of The Energy Cooperative’s service area".

NGO is not your regular "mom and pop" driller and they are seroius about shale development. Below is a picture of their House of Jacob Horizontal Clinton well in the drilling process. I know some on the forum had asked about the size of the pad compared to a Utica Shale pad. Also the well is said to be outperforming the EVEP  horizontal wells in the East Canton oil field.

Cool! Looks like about 2X the size of a conventional well and 1/4 the size of a Utica well pad.

We are a landowner in this well.  It went into production in Feb 2015.

so what the production on this well .......mmcf of gas a month barrels of oil a month
