Talisman has been bought out.  Good luck to all Bradford County Talisman Lessors.

You can't say it has not been a good run until now.  But this casts the future into question.

Do you know who bought them out?  Wonder if Chesapeake is next!

They were bought out by Repsol, a Spanish energy company.  Jack Young, over on the Potter County board, has said he thinks we will be OK.  Jack most often knows his stuff, and I surely hope he is right!

I do not think Chesapeake is next.  But you never know.

We are not with Talisman but chpk.  Our checks started out at 2000 a month but this mo. received 65 dollars.  Good luck in the future with any gas co.

CHK is bottom of barrel where gas companies are concerned.  Worry for rest of us is that increasingly other gas companies could commence to copy Chesapeake's scurrilous and detestable practices.  This because Chesapeake has not yet been brought to heel either by our PA AG, or in the courts.  Hope springs eternal.
