I read an interesting article which was a link from this site. Sorry, I can't find the link, but an O & G spokesman from some company talked at a conference about how the OPEC move (or lack thereof), which is causing Russia severe financial problems with their oil, might force them to raise the prices on the huge quantity of gas they supply to a good part of Europe, causing the Europeans to come to us begging for cheaper gas. I believe he was talking about NGL exports. What are your thought on this? It would be something if the Brits had to swipe a credit card on their stove to boil a pot of water for tea!

Sounds plausible to me.  The Russkies are hurtin' bad now because of the low price of crude.  They need money.  That they might jack up prices for their NG in order to recoup some of the loss on oil is not an unreasonable thought.  Also, the western Europeans are pretty well locked in to Russia right now on NG.  It would take them a while to develop an alternate source.  Maybe I can help out here.  I have some NG I'd be delighted to sell to the Europeans at inflated price.  ;-)

The Brits probably do have to swipe a credit card on their stove to turn it on just to boil a pot of water. They are still servants to the Monarchy.
