Mid-Weastern Pa & Mid-Eastern Ohio...Hot spots for the Utica??

Seems to me midwestern Pa would be a hot spot because it has the marcellus & the utica shale. I realize the marcellus isn't as thick, but still if gas companies can get two for the price of one...why don't we hear about more drilling in this area??

I think some companies are making a move toward the Ohio side in hopes of finding "wet gas" and oil in the Utica formation. Because of the price of natural gas and apparent abundance some are looking to balance their inventories to include oil producing zones, i.e. the utica shale. The further west you go in Ohio the more oil the Utica is likely to produce, or so I've been told.
