Why haven't we heard anything from ALOV? We know what all the other company's are paying, but nothing of what we are doing. Are we going to sign before the end of the year? Or are we going into next year? Any answers?

Paul, ALOV IS NOT A COMPANY IT IS A NON PROFIT LANDOWNERS GROUP. If you are a Alov member you must be patient. Was you at the last meeting, did you sign an extention card? There are alot of o/g companies that are bidding on ALOV acres and hopefully from what I hear they may have a deal by new years but maybe they wont. ALOV is not going to publicize what companies are offering are group, THINK ABOUT IT. Good things are going to happen!!! PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bidding war has just begun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The link above should put some ease in your worries.  If you got in with ALOV, it seems you got the best deal out of all of this.  Good luck everyone.

I spoke with Katie Rae (Bob's daughter) early last week, she was very nice to speak with by the way, and she indicated that they were very close to having a deal for us to vote on. I offered to volunteer at the next meeting, to help in any way, and she said maybe she would have reason to call me next week.

Man would that be a nice Christmas present, or what. Thats why i have spent most of my day today monitoring this site, hoping somebody had heard good news and a call to my house would soon be forthcoming, with news that a vote was in order.

James that is the best and most encouraging new I have heard in a long while. Thank you for the reply. I will buy a coffee if I can meet you. Thanks Paul

Paul, Thanks, may take you up on that coffee but i hope i am not soon to be taking my foot outa my mouth to take a drink, he he. We have all heard the rumors of soon we will have a deal, so i hope i have not fed that rumor, but thats how our conversation went last week. I had a visit again today from Craig Stull, we met on this site and found were darn near neighbors, we talk about whats going on out there and on here, anyway he seems to think this week may be the week as well. Keep our eyes crossed and the car keys outa our ears and maybe we will have some good news. The logic goes like this, the week between Christmas and New Years not much ever seems to get done so if its gonna happen in 2011, it should be this week, right?

Paul, I believe since the signing of Chesapeakes J/V,  things are going to happen. Read attachment.

Does anyone know why we can't get on  the ALOV site?

Tom, we also cannot find anyone working at the location in Salem.

Did you try calling them?

No i stopped by. Did they move their offices?

I don't know. I never been to there office. Where was it at?

We signed a lease a few weeks ago, Buckeye Minerals formally ALOV moved to the old South Range Middle School on Rt 165 in Greenford. I beleive they had outgrown the location between Salem and Lisbon.
