Another "golden egg" laying goose is dead?
As we have seen, the Marcellus shale drilling success has lead to an over-supply of natural gas and a depressed price.
The driller's answer was - go to the wet gas Utica areas to capitalize on the higher value of natural gas liquids mainly ethane. Now this success has lead to an over-supply of ethane and the price of ethane is now less than the equivalent methane. The ethane cannot be left in the gas going into the pipeline because it contains more BTUs than methane (1070 vs approx 1025) and that would raise the value too close to the limit pipelines allow - 1100 BTU.
The answer may be to shut-in some Utica wells and return to the dry gas areas, but wait there is an over-supply of gas. What's needed is more useage, but that is going to take time and even then there's such an over-supply that prices are not going to change much for a long time.
The drillers are between a rock and a hard place.

OK, guys - this IS realLy starting to get FUNNY! I'm having FUN here! - Like you crazy guys. The best thing that ANY right minded individual could do is this: SPEND a couple of BUCKS & get their OWN INDEPENDENT WATER SAMPLES from their land - BEFORE DRILLING begins (FRACKING, FELLOWS!). There's NOTHING more precious than WATER...not even GAS GOLD'! Can't 'drink that'! FRACK BRACK is NASTY! (and all you guys KNOW IT!).
OK - big shots. Here's my challenge to you. Forget Jim-Tom, Tom-Jim, flim-flam, mish-mash...and get get down to the 'brass tacks': Get a FRESH bottle of fRACKBREW - and ChUG all of it. Vera say when, Vera says where, and Vera 'draws' the water (IF she so chooses...) for you. Put your FRACK WATER where your MOUTH IS! ***DRINK UP!*** (not even J-T would be THAT stupid...would YOU? Come On. Oh, yeah - bring it on!
I love the smell of sweet success - nothing like it! - be it the waft of 'oil & gas' or 'leftovers' from a fast horse (follow the $ - you really DON'T 'like that'...but you LOVE that money! - that's FINE...it takes the CASH to PAY the RENT!). Made a good 'nut' on GLM years ago - didn't it get taken over by NBR (Neighbor Drilling?...like I said - years ago!...but I'm such a silly cookie!

Yes Vera, I live quite well with my logical approach to issues. An approach supported by evidence as opposed to nonsensical, unsupported assertions. Actually you don't even make what could be called assertions in the real sense of the word. What you do would really have be called raving. You claim a position but say nothing to back it up. Until you show evidence of your crazy claims I will now ignore you completely.

Should be pretty expensive since her mini-van burns home made organic bio-diesel from all the left over nut shells. She couldn't be burning fosil fuels for her tours.
