Can a shallow well be drilled on a parcel where only 50 percent of it is leased. Iunderstand how it could happen on a Utica well just wondered if it would apply to a shallow one as well . Force pooling on the Utica would happen probably but what about the other.

How? ex: 100ac parcel, 50ac leased? Yes. or, 100ac parcel 50% of rights leased? No.
