Good reason to drill, drill, drill!

Ok it is June any news on what Shell is going to do ..I believe they are due for a decision at the end of June..

No news yet. Unless they move the date further out, they have till the end of June.

I believe too much money has been spent for them not to build it, however we (the landowners) really don't know what is under us.

Craig - didn't they extend it again until December 2013?

If they did, then I missed it.

I'm also wondering if they extended that again. I don't see it getting built, personally.

I hope your wrong Frank , but if our neighboring Ohio producers are contracting their liquids to the Canadian Oil Sand  , what's the point in building a cracker here? You may be right.

Glenn

'Ohio producers are contracting their liquids to the Canadian Oil Sand'. It could be ten years before the proposed Monaca cracker would become operational.

I think there is probably more than enough to supply both...

There is more than enough for 3 crackers and to fill pipelines (Mariner West & East, Bluegrass and others) Just a question of  taxes and regulation (more taxes).

Yep, it was in the BVT today. Looks like it's been extended again until 2014

Zinc smelter in PA where Shell may build cracker is closing
