did the village sign a lease?.....if with kenyon, i suppose chk may have it now.

are you still in the business?

I can't remember if I was with Kenyon or Continental then. they are basically the same anyway. both leased for CHK. I am still in the business as an adviser to landowners with Ohio Shale Services, LLC.  http://ohioshaleservices.com/

Ray - it is called the Spinden well.........the permits are there, i'm not sure how i missed them when they went on initially.

the surface location is not far down long rd from adams rd on the left in the back of a field. you can see the exact location if you click the link on dons post and zoom in on the area.

maybe they will be contacting you soon when they determine the drilling unit........or maybe they don't have to until they determine the production unit, which they may not have to do until they are ready to produce......not sure how that works.

ok thanks booger.i didnt see the links don posted until after my last comment.looks like im se of where well is goin,and that the direction the landman said they are drilling first.hope i get a check for christmas!! thanks for all your help!

...and if everyone else signed the addendum like you, then it might not matter which direction they drill first........it may just be one large production unit and everyone will share the spoils.....good luck to you.

btw- i drove up long rd this morning........they are gonna have to widen that road a bunch.

does anybody know if they started the road work yet? if not im planning a trip down that way this weekend and will drive by and see what, if anything is goin on. ill report my findings monday.

i noticed that ridge rd is patched from 250 to adams rd (at least) and the mouth of adams is paved.....i will be going down this weekend.......i cant believe they will access this well only from 799....i would think they would also use adams rd like GPOR did on the boy scout well.

Ray - not sure if you made it down, but ridge rd has been patched and chip/seal from 250 through deersville to adams rd (at least) adam rd is paved from ridge rd toward long rd about 1/4 mile.......after that there is no other road work on long rd or 799 that i saw......they have widened the existing ROW (i think is the ATEX)...it crosses long rd and adam rd right at the intersection.......the timber has been cut wider for some time but they just removed all the trees and brush and looks like they are getting ready to install more pipe........not sure if the spendin well will tie in to that, but it runs right by the proposed pad site.
