I didn't see anything started about this one yet.
Let's have a dedicated location for info relating to the new Rex "J Hall" pad located off of Shannon Run in S.E. Millwood Township.
Heard any rumors, have any pictures of the activity, know anybody working the pad site? Let's talk about it.

Looked again on Friday night, and the ODNR finally updated the information and permit for the Rex wells.
They put the initial proposed platmap up, the "Road Usage Maintenance Agreement" (RUMA), the permit and Affidavit. Pretty interesting stuff. Sorry, I can't upload the permit, file size is too large.
I can't want to see the royalties start to come in...DRILL BABY DRILL!!!!
J HALL WELL CARDS:
If you look at the Platmap for unit 12H, Mary Long is in the unit but part of Michael Allen's land isn't.
I spoke with Steve Long the other day. He must have called or spoken with his landman at Rex. They told him that they were planning on starting to drill in early June, but that it was going to be moved up and they are supposed to spud the first hole on May 1st. Don't know for sure if it's true or not, but I like to hear that. He also told Steve that we could possibly be seeing royalties by years end.
After waiting for so long I see that the ODNR FINALLY put out the 4th qtr production reports. The Rex "J Anderson" wells look like they did pretty darned good to me. It's hard to calculate a $ amount per acre from that pad since I don't have a clue what they are selling the product for. But I can tell you this much. I have a good friend at work, and his in-laws are in a producing well in Carroll County. They are getting royalties from the "Brunk" wells. He told me they have been getting a little over $500 per acre/month. Looking at the per day production of the Brunk wells vs: the J Anderson wells, the Anderson wells are probably 4 to 5 times better producers (Granted, they have not seen any kind of decline like the Brunk wells have yet, Brunk has been producing for all of 3rd and 4th Qtrs) This is all good news as far as I'm concerned!
Drove out Putney Ridge a little while ago, they have the rig up now!!! Should be drilling anytime.
Please post some photos!
The other day I e-mailed the landman from Rex who is in charge of this area around the J Hall and J Anderson pads. Just asked for a status/progress update, here is the reply.
"Hi Tom,

In the Warrior South Prospect, the company is currently drilling the second well of the six-well J. Hall pad, located in Guernsey County, OH. The six-wells on the J. Hall pad are expected to be drilled with an average lateral length of approximately 5,400 feet and are testing approximately 650 foot spacing between the laterals on the pad. The six-well J. Hall pad is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2014 and placed into sales near the end of 2014.
Noticed the other day that they finally took the rig down from the J Hall pad. Apparently all the holes are drilled.
The pipeline company told my neighbor that the pipeline was going to be started in mid September because it was/is going through his property, but I have not seen any activity on it as of yet. Although in the past few days I have seen a lot of empty flatbeds going by. The kind used to haul pipeline equipment with. Also tonight above the windy conditions I could hear dozer tracks clanking around in that general area. Hopefully things are finally moving. The pipline Co. told my neighbor that Rex wanted product flowing by years end...let's hope it happens.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
