Finally the government may be catching up to the leftist shenanigans of the Park Foundation, Schmidt Foundation and many others. While this report is written by the Senate minority (Republicans) it is good to see people are noticing the hijacking of discourse on energy development. Take a look:

David,

Thanks for this important information.

This is a must read.

Even if people read only the introduction they will get a good idea of the hypocrisy, and deceit  of the environmental left, including the anti shale development folks.

Just reading the introduction was chilling. A continued reading of the contents left me physically upset.

Thanks again David.

Physically upset was my reaction also.  Hewlett?, Packard?, Moore? does making a LOT of money in the technology world erode some part of your brain?

Phil

With organizations like this, filled with large numbers of insane activists, right here at home and right under our noses, fear of far-away ISIS seems a little overblown.  They are all, at the bottom line, dangerous terrorists who will stop at nothing to get their way.

We can only hope that voting, starting this November and continuing in November of 2016, will go the other way.  If all the good people on our side just vote, and do not remain at home as happened in the past, we will be OK.  Otherwise, if millions again refuse to vote, we are doomed.

Yes, reading that article put me in mind of ISIS as well.

Nothing to see here, move along.

drip,drip,drip............

No worries, they'll get to this non-story as soon as they get the others closed.

Thanks for this post David.  I agree Barry, A Must Read!  Truly disturbing to learn some of what goes on while most of us keep plugging away at work!

The article writes about a 'Billionaire's Club' on the left, locking 'regular Americans' out of the economy.

I notice also a 'Billionaire's Club' on the right locking 'regular Americans' out of the economy.

Looks like we 'regular Americans' are pretty much screwed to me.

Politics stink.

Self-serving politicians on both the left and right rule the roost.

All only IMHO.

I think "regular americans" have been screwed for a very long time.  Perhaps the best we can do is to find some lube to ease the pain.

Yeah, I think we need some 'regular Americans' in office myself; as I don't think 'regular Americans' are being served by their government these days.

Our government is supposed to be only 'tolerated' by 'we the people'; not 'as dictated to' by.

But, I bet special interest perks (or is it percs) / incentives would soon turn their heads also.

Term limits I think would help.

Maybe treat the offices like the armed services instead ?

More State Representatives and Senators put to task are needed as well ?

As always only IMHO.

Joseph,

Regular elections are term limits.

If that's how you see it, then IMHO the 'regular elections' are not frequent enough.

Joseph,

Term limits requires legislative action. So would changing the terms of legislators.

Since both actions would require action by the people being affected what do you think the chance of either happening ? My guess would be nil.

Instead I suggest that people become involved and run for office themselves or support candidates that reflect your views. Once in office they (or you) could start the process of change.

Just a thought.
