I would be extremely happy to be part of this unit.  If you plug in $90 a barrel oil and $3 per MCF for gas these wells are averaging about a million dollars gross per month.  I sorted the DNR spreadsheet based on these numbers and they are in the top 15% of the wells reported.  Granted these are for the first two months of the Karen wells while others have declined since they have been active for several months.  They aren't like some of the Antero wells, a few of which (Myron, Michael, Hercher, Schafer)  seem to be grossing at or over 5 million a quarter, but they are still pretty darn good.

David, are these numbers what are actually being used right now to determine royalties for the unit($90/$3)?  I thought the condensate was more like $60/barrel.  Where are you getting these numbers?

Jeffrey,

I was just using very conservative numbers and not even factoring in the condensates.  Just calculating dry gas and oil in a back of the envelope fashion.  The ODNR does not require reporting for condensate so there is no way (at least for a lay person like me) to make the calculation.  So the real numbers should be higher than what I had figured.  Didn't mean to mislead anyone.

Thanks,

Dave

I think I should have used NGL's instead of condensates in the post above.

I agree there not the biggest wells around by I know someone in this unit who's getting royalties and its unbelievable how much per.month  per acre.

Evan can't leave us hanging like that! How much are they getting paid a month per acre??

Haha waiting for that response. About 2800 per acre per month .

Holy Crapola$$$$$$$$$

If that's true than the guys we talked to from Schlumberger weren't kidding .. They said the wells in guernsey county are really really good so far from what they have seen .. It's still early as a lot of these are just now awaiting completion ..

Yea Guernsey is really picking up , once Eclipse drills up Millwood township things will really change for people around here .  Oxford is also seeing a ton of action.

That's great news.  I don't know them personally, but the grapevine tells me that one of the families in the Rex J Anderson wells were getting between $2000 and $3200 per month (depending on sales and production of course) per acre when the were first brought online.  Things are definitely looking good for Southeast Guernsey County.

All I want for Christmas is some DIVISION ORDERS!
