Another year is upon us and we are all starving for information pertaining to the "gas biz" in our county.

Hilcorp appears to be poised for an extremely busy year.

Shell seems to be dragging it's feet for some reason , even though the Cracker appears likely to become a reality.

Hopefully more infrastructure projects will become known as the year unfolds.

Please share any news with us you may uncover over the course of the year.

Good luck to us all and may 2014 be the year that puts us on the map!

Thanks Jim. Here is one thing for sure! The best predictor of future is what has happened in the past! History always repeats itself.
Sorry forgot to add. competition does drive some things. BUT in this case supply and demand control prices. They know that and I know that! And you can't loss something you never had.
Thanks Rich

We hear leasing will begin in Lawrence, Beaver, Mahoning, Trumbull.

Hey Kikko where are you hearing this? This sounds like an old RE stunt.

Do you smell a flipper? And I ain't talking dolphins......

Just got our REX notification in the mail.....I will be interested when our lease expires in less than 2 years if they try to low ball us on re signing.

Do you have the renewal clause at same terms? I wouldn't be too worried if you do.

Renewal clause won't help it they let the lease expire.

Good question for a lawyer I think. Rex mentions the fact that a portion of Shell's leasehold has extension language as a selling point though. I take this to be a good thing and hopeful this will be honored.
This would be a good question for Co-Exprise as it would adversely affect them as well. A good portion of Rex's purchase were originally Hilcorp leases negotiated by Co-Exprise and they have a stake in those royalties.

Mine was not Hilcorp, I think they have the right to negotiate, but I will have to look it over......

I'm thinking Rex probably doesn't have the money to renew all those leases from the original Mt Jackson group. Maybe 20000 acres. $3000 per acre that's $60 Million due in 2 yrs.
Chris hopefully they get enough of us drilled by then that there won't be so many acres requiring extension. These next two years are going to be interesting, hopefully in a good way. It definitely looks like a daunting task though! All we can do is wait and see.
