In keeping with my SWORN SECRECY....

all I can say now is.....

NCD3 is "better" then hoped for....at this time....:)

All of my predictions and assumptions have been proven true....

Will be a couple weeks

till FULL OUTPUT is on line....

that's my last prediction...

When the quarterly report is out.....

it should be a nice surprise...for those involved..

Till then.....my lips are sealed.....:)

EQT spent their 2014 Ohio Utica drilling budget ($145MM) on a land swap with Range R. back in April, about the time they announced they were suspending drilling in the Utica.  We have to wait until they re-allocate capital to drill in Ohio again.  Will it be 2015?

Mike,

Thanks for the updates. It is very interesting to see how things are developing in this oil window. I know it is very early in this process and that they will continue to make improvements as time goes by.

Keep up the good work of reporting.

Thanks,,  I don't mind....all I got to do is just go look...:)

Today they are taking out the FLOWBACK equiptment..

SOON.... go for FULL BORE OUTPUT... I suppose for a 30 day 24 hour test....

ODOT gonna have to put a redlite out at 313 and Cubbison for all the tankers....:)

I also agree with Jon and appreciate your updates and inputs Mike. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, just something to do....

The FLOWBACK had a HEATER... to allow the oil/water to separate better..

With the FLOWBACK equiptment gone.. they are now putting "PIPE" in the pad...

and there is a big HEATER stack... on one side....

.at least I assume its a heater..

it PUTS OUT HEAT WAVES NITE AND DAY.... NO FLARING.....just HEAT....

so im guessing when the pipe they are laying now.. gets done.. and hooked up..

they will

RE START production...

I have no idea... about how much if ANY .. gas .. is being produced....

lots of brine going out....that's good...

Wont be many oil tankers go out till back up and running.....at a better pace...

Halliburton did the first two pads and didn't do them well...

so EQT spent the big bucks for the Texas guys... they GOT OIL...!

Wait till you read the first Quarterly report...

Mike,

I do hope your right, so go's your area maybe mine will get hot again, we are right next to the brill pad (DEVON).

Bill

Mike, what's up with the rig set up at the NCD3?

aThey are installing tubing down each vertical to run gas under Pressure...

They will be installing PERMANANT Compresssors on each lateral..

This is the latest Tech to get MORE oil....

They only do this if there is a large reservoir of oil to make it worthwhile...

The gas pressure down the tube does a couple things.. lowers pressure at end of tube

by "lowering" the pressure of weight of oil in a 6000 foot vertical pipe  ...

and also "thins" the oil.. Main thing is... MORE OIL QUICKER AND OVER A  LONGER PERIOD OF TIME..

They can "cycle" the pressure over time...it is  a touchy thing to "balance " the pressure in verticel pipe..

I keep saying.. "there is a LOT of oil down there"   not wishing.. just logic...

Everything EQT is doing on this site.. points to that...

They would NOT invest all this time and $ if it was gonna weaken like Spencer and Clark..

If you think about it... its almost also like "lite" fracking....

If the compressed gas EXCEEDS reservoir pressure the "hydraulic" effect would be

to put more pressure at the other end... ie... make more lite fractures..

The longer they can keep the reservoir under pressure..;.. the MORE OIL they get..

Im having fun researching and watching all this...

these workers really know what they are doing.....smooth and quick.. setup..

I wouldn't do what they are doing for $100K a year....too dirty and nasty....

rain hail snow wind... don't stop em...

Im guessing they will be down from producing for a few days till all set up again...

Probably Jan/Feb till we see any $

Sounds interesting and expensive. I am assuming you have done some research on this new technology. Can you share a link with the information?

Here is one link... but you can put the nomenclature in GOOGLE

and find other info..

Just type in "gas lift on oil wells "  in GOOGLE...

https://www.rigzone.com/training/insight.asp?insight_id=315&c_id=4

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_lift

http://www.weatherford.com/weatherford/groups/web/documents/weather...

Are they using CO2 or compressed gas from well?
