Chesapeake must like what it is seeing in Perry Township. This permit expired for the 2 year period and they repermitted it and are going to drill it now. Looks like Tusc County is starting to heat up finally.

Launch the map and you can zoom in to find the wells.

Thanks.  Is there anyway to determine which wells are newer?  Will they be considered horizontal or directional, and what is the difference?

I watch the permits as they are issued each week.  The horizontal wells have lines determining their direction.

Dutch Valley well permit was approved by the ODNR today.

Hi TM do you have a plat map for the dutch valley well. thanks tena

No map has been posted yet by ODNR. The database has not been working today for me or other days sometimes. The site seems to be having technical difficulties alot lately.

I have a hard copy of the unit map from the ODNR site - sorry I can't tell you how to access it  - it was given to me. They spelled the name of the road wrong - Shady Ridge instead of the correct Sandy Ridge. I was given the paper copy back in June or July. I was told yesterday that "drilling has started" and "fracking will take place next year."

Dutch Valley Plat Map below. 9,072 ft lateral. One of the longest laterals I have seen in Tusc county so far.

I don't think they are drilling yet but they have started building the pad.
