I understand that some companies are going to take the stand that unless specifically stated in the lease, they will not pay for condensates. If your lease says just oil and gas, they are going to refuse payment for the "condensate". Does anyone know anything about this. Also, I saw a post which had a letter for a demand for failure to pay royalties. Could someone please post another copy?

Thanks.

We have 18 legs about one mile from the Mobley processing plant, a very liquids rich area in Wetzel County, and we have not been paid one penny for NGLs.  I wonder if the WV legislature will step in or if a class action lawsuit might be formed?

Might want to check out this link. She has interesting comments and apparently is somewhat of a big deal in the Oil and Gas industry.

Thanks for the tip, Jim!  I just "Liked" Jacki's fb page.  Many of us mineral holders are being ripped off by the O&G companies and we must get organized to fight them. Perhaps Jacki can help. Do you have more info on the case in Wood county regarding not paying for condensates? I would like to do some research and follow the case.  Do you know the name of the law firm, attorney, plaintiff, defendant? Thanks!

Marcus

That link didn't specifically apply to your situation. One of the heir in my family knows her and said she has good advise. Just a blog. As to the lawsuit, the lead attorney is Marvin Masters. It is somewhere around Clarksburg, I think, not wood. Just a guess is that Steptoe would be the defense firm.
