Good morning.

When we were originally approached by the gas co we were told there is a good chance we could be in multiple drilling units.  All of our acerage is in a unit currently Is it possible that same acerage could be in another drilling unit that has a well pad even closer to us?

Thank you.

Possibly. I only have 82 acres and when it's all said and done I will be in 5 different units.

all your acreage could be in different units  if the units are in different formations....

Are you in an area where they are drilling both the Utica  and Marcellus?  If you are then you could have the same acreage in two different units in two different shale formations.

Is the question that the same acre would be in two seperate units within the same shale formation?  I have wondered about that with the drilling pads.  If you have a drilling pad on your property and the pad includes more than one unit could the drilling pad acreage be in multiple units.

I have seen several plat maps where the drilling pad is not included in a unit.

I am in the Marcellus Shale area . We have 30 acres (all of which are in a producing unit). Is it possible that all or some of our 30 acres would be in a new unit?
