Does anyone have info on A.E.U. plans for future drilling in light of the low crude prices? Will he postpone drilling and maybe lay down some rigs or keep going full speed.... Will the focus change from oil to gas?

That, ladies and gentlemen, is what the modern day PT Barnum looks like.  Energy companies are edging closer to death's door and Aubrey finds half a billion dollars to go invest.  The guy is truly amazing.

Wasn't it in the news months ago the Aubrey's exec's bonus on how much debt they achieve?

:rof:  Suckersville.  I would drink poison first.  I believe the junk bonds funding him have pretty much collapsed. You can buy them for 30% discount, maybe more, as they had fell 19% by Mid-October...Lord only knows but that is $20 more per bbl than priced today....I'd say that is as good as it will get.

Because the borrowing capacity of oil and gas producers is directly tied to the value of their reserves, the falling commodity prices are increasing the risk that companies will face funding constraints should the selloff persist

I am confused. You don't mean McClendon is going to buy what CHK sold in WV and Wash Co PA do you? Say it ain't so!

Maybe he got away from CHK. cause he seen they could eventually go under, with the intentions of buying up most of their assets!    Tee-Hee
