Landmen representing Et Rover are now currently starting negotiations,  At least where i'm at in Wv. I just recently met with my landman and received their first offer.  They are leasing by the acre, not the foot, and it was a total slap in the face. (I did the math on what it worked out by the foot  <10$ a foot)  This number did not include the damages for timber etc. though.   Not that I was suprised being a ferc line and all.  I guess I will see what will come out of the negotiations.

Yes, Acreage is way cheaper than buying by the foot. 

As I've said before, see how they operate when they have FERC on their side. I'll just ride it through and keep refusing. I have nothing to lose and I'll resist until the end. What happened to the $100+ dollars per foot that others said they are going to get?

I knew when he said it was going to be an initial offer it would be extremely low.  Lets face it, if they offer me $9 a foot and I negotiate it up to 25$ a foot, I should feel good about it at least they want me to feel good about it.  However $25 a foot is still too low.  I forgot to mention that my landman told me with ET Rover there is a $5000 reimbursement for anyone taking their lease to a lawyer.  Im not sure what their angle is here.  It is not written in the agreement either.  nor is there other paperwork for that agreement.

I am only good with this if there is no eminent domain. People have to have the right to say no if that is their choice.
