HAPPY NEW YEAR from College Station Texas. The people here welcome drilliing and do not try to strong arm the oil companies when they try to develop an area by spending  millions of dollars in a new venture.  They do not spend months badmouthing companies and then wonder why they pull out of and area. The gas and oil will be  in the ground until someone with the money and expertice comes along and is given the right to setup the intrstructure to get the job done. There are landowners  in Mercer County who prance around with their chest out thinking they are the only ones with reserves under ground. Halcon wanted to develop northern Mercer County only to be met by idiots who drove them off by being stupid. Wilson knew there is great reserves there and locked in by 12 1/2  % royalty continous production. They pulled out to drill in areas where you just back the rig off the highway and drill. No b/s. No 70 calls to Houston complaining about this and that.  The world is much bigger than Salem Township. The money is in the production. Stop trying to get rich on the pipelines because here in Texas we know the big picture. Texas A & M is going to increase enrollment by 5000 students per year in just one of its many fields of education. (petro-engineering). Send your kid to A&M and maybe he can come back to Mercer County and educate some of the old know- it- alls that will live in poverty until they wise up.

Unfortunately I did not. There are 3 active wells on the James pad (1H, A3, D8). If the numbering is the same as the Zigo pad then these would all run in the same direction. On the Zigo well 1-2-3 and 7-8-9 all run Northwest and 4-5-6 and 10-11-12 run Southeast. I've heard from more than one person that Hilcorp is now drilling to hold leases by production before the leases run out and until oil prices move higher. No surprises there.

John l did you hear by chance which way the new laterals were drilled at the James well?

Just received a report that Hilcorp is currently drilling at least 2 wells on the Jefferson Zigo pad. One lateral North (1H) and one lateral South (5H). Those 2 laterals will hold over 2500 acres HBP. A total of 4 wells are permitted (2 North and 2 South). Big flare this weekend at the James well. Hilcorp drilled an additional 2 wells there this month.

Bob-I haven't been ignoring you, just trying not to make this the "Bob and John site". I see Hilcorp has a small rig on the Zigo pad. I would expect the big rig on the Wengerd pad to go to Zigo's next. You can see the rig on the Wengerd site if you're traveling west of Mercer on I-80.

I see on pa. site that Halcon got there storm water permit for the pipeline between Yoder to Reges wells. The storm water permit for Hilcorp Hanna pad was issued. Swepi permit for drilling the Shannon (3HD) well deeper is still pending.

Bob- good initial guess. There must be a hot spot in that area with the James, Wengerd, McCullough and now the Anderson pad. Zigo is just east of there. These pads are following the Pennant Midstream pipeline. I see the James well is being fracked this week. Let's hope things keep moving along.

JohnL its official,the Anderson pad will be on highland road just north of Grapevine road.

Bob- your guess near Grapevine and Highland is probably as close as any. That wold put it a few miles from the James pad. It will be interesting to see if Hilcorp keeps drilling with the low oil/gas prices. Just when things were starting to look up for this area.

Any official word on where the Anderson pad is to be?
