Is anyone in the group knowledgeable about current events, particularly near Overbrook Road? What type of unitization is in process for what well?

Phil,
How do I get to the production report on the Stebbins well for 2014? FYI... They are drilling at the Harvey well with the small rig as I type, could hear them drilling all night. My hat's off to them... no it's too cold out! Thanks, Lew
RB,
Rex's production +/- could not affect gas and oil prices. The declines I see are real and are consistent with other producers in the areas that I follow. Frankly, many areas that are "talked up" aren't all that great including where my property is, Southern Butler County, PA.

Phil,
Does anybody show production broken down by the month for the year? Thanks, Lew
Lew,
Starting in March 2015 PA requires monthly production reports. For now, the every six month reports are all that I have seen. Your check stubs for the Stebbins well would give you monthly data.
Phil
Lew,
Here is the answer to your original request. I assume that the Monthly reports that will be required later this year will appear here so this might be of general interest.
To access the PADEP production reports:
Go here using Google Chrome browser
https://www.paoilandgasreporting.state.pa.us/publicreports/Modules/...
Click Agree
Click Production Reports
Click By Operator
Check Unconventional Only
Check Operator Name
Begin to type operator name in the box next to Operator Name
(Example XTO or RE for Rex)
Click the operator name in the drop down box that appears
Check the Reporting Period(s) you are interested in
Click the Download Data button
A box will appear with blue underlined clickable “CSV” listed in the Production column. This is Comma Separated Variable data and is intended to load into an Excel spread sheet. Click once on the CSV. This should either 1) open an Excel spreadsheet filled with the requested data or 2) put a Tab along the bottom of the window. Click the tab to open the Excel spreadsheet or click “Show all downloads..” at the lower right hand part of the screen.

Lew,
I see where the Brownsdale West (previously Harvey) Unit and Allison Unit have been declared at the Butler County Recorder of Deeds website here:

What is an Assignment and Assumption document? I see one at that website with a lot of people's names including acreage leased with REX, including mine. Anyone know??
RB,
After Rex leases you they assign 20% to Sumitomo (Summit Discovery).
I think that is it.
Phil
Phil, I saw that after researching. Financing arrangement I guess.
How do you find a unit there? I guess you have to know the name of the unit?
RB,
Sumitomo bought 20% of Rex some years back.
Type the name of any landowner that is in the unit and the "Declaration" or "Modification" document will come up. Scroll to the right to find the purple colored underlined "Display Doc". Click on that. Sometimes you have to scroll WWWAAAAYYY to the right. Drag the bar at the bottom to scroll right.
Phil
Anyone read this article? REX is on the list. It's about high level debt to earnings ratios.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
