Statoil - Anyone else not receive their February Royalty Check?

The majority of those in our unit have not received their February royalty checks from Statoil - unit is in Springfield Township, Bradford County.  Have contacted Statoil, but of course no response.  Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

We were over paid by stat back in November. I know of alot of people were. They cashed there checks and are now having deductions untill they are caught up,so stat says. We sent our check back as they asked us to after e-mail correspondence . We have not had a payment sense. I believe they think we cashed it. I have e-mailed different stat divisions and have recieved no reply. Time to try calling. Wyalusing twp.

Matthew, what would be the equation to figure our percentage of royalty. Stat is now saying they have paid us the wrong percentage so we are in debt to them. I guess I need to start with figuring out what our percentage would be.
I have not received a check either. They sent us division orders in the beginning of February which we already had done one well in 2012 and the other two wells only 6 months ago. I had questions besides the obvious about the div order. Contacted them by phone and a week later with no response I sent emails. Two weeks later no response. Sent the division order back as we figured they held our check because of this. Why does every oil & gas co play games. Chk takes enormous deductions but you can at least get them on the phone. I always have problems getting thru to stat. I am in Wyoming county.
I am suspicious this was in the letter that came with the new division order. Statoil changed the way we represent the owner interest decimal on the division order in April 2013. Please note that the owner interest decimal will not be reduced by Statoil's working interest in the lease on any division order you received prior to April, 2013.
This made me wonder what kind of game they are playing so I am going to be going through everything now.
I guess we should not have sent it back. The main issue I had noticed was the unit size wasn't right. I guess I didn't notice it when we did the other div orders. I haven't been too good the past year with watching the statements as my husband and I have had health problems and it has just been crazy. Things starting to get back to the norm somewhat and I guess I have even more work to do.
Thank you for the info you gave me. I wish they would quit playing games with us it is getting very old!

Have been told by different lawyers that the "Division Orders" should never be signed and not required in PA!

I sent an email to royalty@statoil.com and finally got a response yesterday, response below.  My mineral rights are in Harrison county, wv.

"According to our records, Statoil has not been allocated any gas for 12/14 and 1/15, therefore, no revenue has been booked. We did however, back out the payments for 11/14 gas that you received on your Dec. check. It appears that we were not allocated any gas after-all and paid owners in error. This placed your account in a debit balance of -$724.17. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused."

Wow, you got a reply. I e-mailed same address 3 times with no reply. Maybe sense they don't owe you any money and they owe us thousands, there is a difference. Has anyboby else ever got through?

Well I finally got email back from the division order dept today. Still no reply from the royalty dept. I think they must have a wide spread amount of people they did not pay and are slowly working thru the emails. sIrcedric, I did actually get to I guy once at Statoil however he never called me back like he said he would after looking into that problem. So I put another call in about it and received a call back from a lady that told me they only had 4 people taking care of the marcellus shale area. I believe that was the royalty dept.

Good luck on your division order.  It took me 3 months before I got my first check.  Now they don't seem to be paying at all.  No payment for February and haven't received my check for March which normally arrives by the 1st. of the month.  This concerns wells in Upshur County West Virginia.  Let us know if you hear of the problem.  They do not return calls or answer e-mails.  What is the purpose of having a Owner Relations Department if the only information received is their own "good news"

TY, we already did division orders for all the wells, they sent an email back finally saying that they made changes. So every time they make changes they make you do new division orders? Seems like it's just a way to not pay. They are cheap and don't have enough employees. I am wondering now if they too have money problems as they have not paid a lot of people this past month for different reasons. I am still waiting for a email back from the royalty dept so I am not sure of the reason they didn't send our check.

Our wells were drilled in year 2010. Payments from Statoil have been fairly consistent until now.

Chesapeake has been more of a problem  in paying than Statoil.  Once we were able to have our Chesapeake checks deposited directly into our bank, most everything has gone smooth with them.  Statoil told my wife 2 weeks ago that Statoil would be using direct deposit by March 13.  She didn't actually say what year!!!.  We can't find any information on this from Statoil reports.  I do believe the oil and natural gas industry will find ways to not pay what the royalty owners are entitled to and delay our payments so they can use our money for what ever benefits them.  That's OK, I would just like to remind them of the class action suit Chesapeake paid back in 2010 for improper payments.  It is public record if any one should like to know more about it.
