Excerpt from Eclipse Resources Press Release 4/14/15:

Joint Venture Process:

Over the course of the last three months, Eclipse Resources has entered into discussions with several parties to explore the possibility of entering into a drilling joint venture on Eclipse’s current acreage position. After completing a thorough review and analysis of the potential options available and receiving numerous proposals, Eclipse Resources does not intend to enter into such an arrangement at this time.

Commenting on the joint venture process undertaken by the Company, Benjamin Hulburt, Chairman and CEO said, “While there was significant interest in forming such a venture from numerous parties, we have concluded that the more accretive course of action is not to enter into a drilling joint venture at this time. Given Eclipse Resource’s strong liquidity position following the completion of the $434 million private placement coupled with the currently undrawn $125 million revolver, we have decided to continue to develop our strong asset base ourselves until commodity prices recover.”

The Ohio Senate Energy and Natural Resourpce Committee had a hearing on HB 8 which would allow State property, including that owned by ODOT to be Unitized today.  As a reminder, this bill passed the full House unanimously.  Correspondence with the Senate Committee members has been very favorable.

It still looks like Rex is not planing any drilling in our area this year.

If T Bone Pickens is right, and oil goes back up to $100. per barrel, they'll be back.

I actually hope that they don't drill until after my lease runs out in 2016.

I don't want put into production until prices get up above $70 a barrel and $4/1000 cubic feet.

I saw them doing seismic testing in Richland township yesterday. The landowner said they took out his power line with the helicopter sling.

The trucks shook on Putney last week and were back and forth by here twice again this week.

I'm tellin' you, there is another formation that is going to be drilled when prices recover.

I received this in the mail today.
