I received communication from Statoil USA Properties yesterday about the reason no production has been received from these wells since late 2014.  Seems the compressor has been undergoing a complete overhaul and is expected to go back in service in late June or earlier.  They intended to have no delay in putting these wells back into service at that time.  Good news for mineral rights holders in these wells.

Larry,

Not sure if you've seen this discussion http://gomarcellusshale.com/forum/topics/statoil-anyone-else-not-re... but many have had the same problem in respect to not receiving royalty checks in 2015.  I emailed Statoil in early March and this was their response.

"According to our records, Statoil has not been allocated any gas for 12/14 and 1/15, therefore, no revenue has been booked. We did however, back out the payments for 11/14 gas that you received on your Dec. check. It appears that we were not allocated any gas after-all and paid owners in error. This placed your account in a debit balance of -$xxx.xx We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused."

Thanks for your posting and hopefully everyone will see a check soon.

Ronald,

I had not seen the discussion on having a debit balance with Statoil.  They had advised me of the situation but never told me why.   I haven't had much luck communicating with Owner Relations but now seem to have an in with a person in Division Orders.  Do you have a  relationship  to Thomas P. Whiteman?   He was my great, great grandfather and his daughter Mary Rose Flanigan was my great grandmother.  Her daughter Emma Jane Kemper was my grandmother and my mother was Blanche Kemper O'Dell.  My heirship is mineral rights to 67 acres in Sardis District which apparently has been combined with adjoining property to become 515.9 acres.  My original interest was 1/12 in the 67 acres.  Were you ever given any calculations as to how your percentage interest was determined for the entire acreage?

Larry O'Dell

I'm Mary Lou's son from Maryland.  After she passed I inherited part of the mineral rights that were passed to her from Joe.

Not sure about the percentage interest, I would need to check my paperwork on that.

Ron,

I do remember you but had no idea you were the same person, I thought it was just another person with the same name.  I thought that Joe's boys inherited his entire interest in the mineral rights.  I know that they are receiving royalties and I assumed that each gets 1/4 of what I receive.  Joe's interest would be the same as mine and whatever percentage he willed  to your mother and further to you, I assume the balance is split equally between the boys.

We haven't been back to Maryland in several years but my wife is retiring in June and my daughter and grandchildren live in Richmond so we will be spending more time up there in the future.  I hope to get back to Maryland and will be sure and look you up when we do.

Larry

Larry,

Since neither Joe nor my mom had a will the rights just got passed down the line to the children.  As far as I know all eight of us have entered into a lease agreement.  Only wish mom and Joe were alive to enjoy some extra cash.  They joked many times about how they were going to be coming into the money once the drilling started.

Funny the timing on your post.  My wife and I were recently discussing our 20 year anniversary which is next year.  We are thinking of going back to Orlando and staying at Westgate Lakes.  Your name came up because you had set it up for us all those years ago.  We still laugh about our check-in when they had misplaced our information and I had to give you a call late in the evening.  You called your friend, I believe it was Bill, and the next thing we know we were in an awesome room with complimentary wine.  To this day will still drink that same stuff:)

It's nice hearing from you and please if you do make it to Maryland track me down.

Ron
