i THINK IT WAS 18%
I have 80 acres in Mckean county (annin township)and have been offered $400.00 an acre by PG&E and I have spoke with an attorney that is saying that is to way to low. We are still deciding what we will ask per acre. Just remember this is not going away, so do not rush into anything without a lawyer. The leases that the compaies are offering have lots of holes in them.
Bonnie-- PG&E is a California public utility. Think you mean Pennsylvania General Energy Corp. (aka PGE). --Tom
have you done anything with your 80 acres in Mckean ?? We have property in Port Allegany, mckean county would like to know what's going on up there ?
Thanks,
Kathy
Hi Kathy, where do you live? You referred to Port Allegany as up there. I do that and I am near the Maryland line. I am working with PGE on a lease deal. I am waiting to hear back from my lawyer. PGE has several wells in my area. I am outside of Port Allegany off of Rt#155. Where is your property??
route 6 through the town of port allegany turn out of town on a road called lillibridge ??? please let me know who you are dealing with up there, you said PGE, do you have any names and numbers ?
lillibridge creek road...anything new on if any leases are being signed in Port Allegany, McKean County, PA out there ?????
I would like any help, anyone could give. Most companies I talked to were not buying in my area
I have two leases from land groups with managers taking 20-25% plus royalities% but did not get on board. They did not have firm numbers just getting bids, but I will be curious to see how they do and what company they end up with. Won't know till end of summer. I really don't want to give someone else my $$
Contact EOG Resources or Seneca Resources if interested in leasing still.
Hi,

Look at this site on McKean Co drilling activity

It is early for any leasing in county at this time..
