What is the problem? I own property in the middle of Wetzel and tyler. When you look at the maps there is quite a bit of drilling going on around us but there is barely nothing in our area. We have 3 pay zones, 2 wet and know it seems a large amount of dry utica. Why aren't they drilling more?????

I'm hoping it is the take away. It seems like the areas with roads that are larger and. better have more drilling around them. Our area is remote with terrible roads.

Jason,

The drillers will eventually drill everything in sight. For now they probably have a list of large areas that have been leased and are about to run out of the Primary Lease, which means they will have to pay another bonus in order to continue into the Secondary Lease period.

Take a look at Carroll County Ohio on the below Ohio interactive well map. You'll see how close together the wells are and they are moving across the county. Also find a Texas well interactive map and you'll see the same if not more wells side by side.  You may have to wait your turn.
