New Potter County Wet Gas Facility !!

REV LNG, to construct, own and operate a pilot micro liquefied natural gas (LNG) production plant. The project expects to achieve LNG liquification production of 50,000 gallons per day, and would be the first of its kind in the eastern part of the country - $800,000 grant to assist the project from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania !!

I believe we have a little confusion of terms here.  The proposed plant takes pipeline quality natural gas and converts it to a liquified form, which has a higher energy volumetric density, thus making it more suitable as a transportation fuel.  Wet gas usually refers to high btu content raw natural gas, which is stripped to extract high value liquids (ngls) with the remaining gas suitable for pipelining to burner tips.

The proposed facility does not deal with wet gas at all.  This is however, a very positive development for the natural gas market and northern PA, and it also expands the footprint where vehicles powered by lng could conveniently operate, in turn meaning a larger potential number of fleet conversions to lng.

Point well taken pg guy, hence my post in the Tioga County forum referring to the facility as a "LNG Production Plant". Liquids are wet, eh ? )))) Potter does have high btu wet gas in some of its shallow sands and some of its shales, so those with holdings in those areas will welcome other types of small scale processing facilities. The county's extensive pipeline network and its dry gas formations in other locales seem to make it well-suited to this latest processing effort.
