Has anyone here ever felt vibration from the drilling process? I am maybe 3000-3500 feet from the rig and felt a vibration resonating through my house very early this morning, it actually woke me. It was in  rhythm with the sound of the drilling. Just curious. Maybe I am crazy. I sent an e-mail to Rex, will let you know if I hear back. Let me know if anyone has experienced this or even heard of it.

BTW about 25 minutes after e-mailing Rex, the rig sounds like it is at an idle. Probably just a coincidence. Just thought I would share.

Frank,

Where are you located? What's the name of the well? Has Rex just started drilling or is it near the end? Thanks, LewPa

Lew,

Sharlow well, Penn Township. They put the horizontal up last week. It has been going about 4 or 5 days. The week before there was a vertical rig there I think. I should have marked it all on the calendar...... I was just curious if they made ground vibration that could be felt, it felt similar to the vibration you get when a highlift is tracking in dirt on a job site, just real slight vibration, but enough to rouse me from sleep. Who knows maybe I was dreaming it, but pretty sure not.

BTW Lew, Nice scoot in your pic, is that an Iron Head sporty? What year?

Frank,

Motor is a 1966, built it as a KR flat track racer look alike with a Sportster motor. Building a 1968 Sportster trike now. Where is the Sharlow well in Penn Twp? I'm near the Stebbins pad, behind Gumto's Greenhouses, on Meridian road in Penn. Lew

That is pretty cool! Clean and fast. My buddy had an old flat head servi-car trike, nice bike but he sold it. Had the suicide clutch and hand advance, that worked great for a trike but I couldn't imagine on 2 wheels :) The well pad is off Rockdale Road by the power lines. It quieted down and I think they are doing a leg in opposite direction. I have heard nothing back from Rex. I need to call them, I also want to know why myself and other neighbors never got our water well results back

Frank,

Mellisa (Mel) from Rex in the Cranberry office is the person to talk to about the water results. 1-800-365-1986 Same thing just happened to me, started drilling but no water test results, just seems a little backwards! Called her and she got right on it, ask her to send you a cheat sheet, it helps to decipher the results. Lew

Lew,

Thank you for the contact info. Much appreciated! Enjoy the ride.
