Someone is trying to put together a landowners group in these areas. I saw an ad in the pennysaver and called him. He is going to set up a meeting sometime in March at the Summerhill, NY town hall.

Most bonuses are for the entire lease period. It is an upfront onetime payment. The royalties however are month to month depending on the output of the well.
