 ouncil has partnered with HeatSpring Learning Institute to offer an Ac
 credited Geothermal Installer Certification Course in Northeastern Pen
 nsylvania. The course is scheduled for April 12 through April 14, 2010
  in Bloomsburg, PA at the Columbia County Agricultural Center.\n\nThis
  training course is a three day comprehensive course focused on the de
 sign and installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems. The c
 ourse includes an open book exam to become an IGSHPA Accredited Geothe
 rmal Installer. The course will include the fundamentals to build a st
 rong foundation in the how and why of properly designed and installed 
 geothermal heat pump systems, advanced topics related to selecting, si
 zing, and designing a ground source heating/cooling system, a director
 y listing in both International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (I
 GSHPA) an HeatSpring Website, reference materials and collectors, 1-ye
 ar IGSHPA Membership, and hands-on training in Pipe Fusion.\n\nYou wil
 l be learning to design and install geothermal systems from the author
  of the new IGSHPA Design and Installation Manual and obtain your cred
 entials and manuals needed to be a geothermal installer. On the third 
 day of the course, an open book exam is given to meet the accreditatio
 n requirements as a geothermal installer. This course is also approved
  for Continuing Education Credits - AIA Approved - 24 HSW LU Hours.\n\
