SUMMARY:Hydric Soil Indicators with a Virtual Field Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn about all of the latest updates to the US Army Corps
  of Engineers Hydric Soil Indicators in a virtual classroom and field 
 workshop setting.   This webinar will cover the three basic soil typ
 es which are the All Soils (Type A), Sandy Soils (Type S) and Loamy So
 ils (Type F).  We will present the most common indicator types found 
 in wetlands.  Learn about the how the presence of an aquic moisture r
 egime affects iron, manganese, sulfur and carbon and how these transla
 te into indicators. We will also discuss how soil texture impacts the 
 analysis of the Corps indicators. We will also present how excess carb
 on is a special type of hydric soil indicator.\nWe will take you on a 
 virtual field trip for several of these indicators types and show you 
 actual hydric soil features in the field.  This virtual field trip is
  recorded in high definition video and presents detailed visualization
