 ers that have an issue with their household water well may be able to 
 receive some technical and financial assistance through a program bein
 g administered by the Pocono Northeast resource Conservation & Develop
 ment (RC&D) Council.  The Council’s program called the Household Wa
 ter Well Assistance Program will be available beginning March 1st to p
 rovide very low interest loans to low to moderate income families in r
 ural areas to service, repair, or upgrade their household water well s
 ystem including new well construction, if necessary. \n \nThrough th
 e program, the Council will be able to provide low interest loans at a
  rate 1% for variable lending terms.  Homeowners must reside within r
 ural areas in the following counties (RC&D Service Area):  Carbon, Co
 lumbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Montour, Northumberland, Pike, Sc
 huylkill, and/or Wayne.\n \nTraining and Information Meeting have bee
