I’m bringing this topic over from the shaleforum. Does anyone know the intentions of these guys? As of yesterday they have leased over 10,000 acres(April 2017- present) in Knox county. Some info from shaleforum members include: they are paying $100/acre for all strata and East Ohio Oil and Gas is a shell company for Western Land Services. Any other information is appreciated.

Not sure if they plugged.. but annual report showed oil and gas on Kamenik well. Maybe just not enough or the area wasn't consistent enough? I have no background in any of this so this group was helpful.

Produced over 1700 bbl/day of water according to the reported production and days. Wouldn't be surprised if their geo assumptions weren't off and tapped into the typically wet Rose Run below the Knox.

I noticed the water production- I wasnt sure if it was so high because of the injected water used to frac.. amateur over here:) thanks for the thoughts!

Some of it definitely is produced frac water!
