Hey all-

an interesting interview and worth a read:

Describes me fairly well, but I lean more towards geology than geophysics and unfortunately biking is less of an option than it used to be.

I would argue that a lot of geo's these days would identify with this article.  Any hired in the last 5-10 years have a master's degree at least (many with PhDs, including myself) and are fairly young, spent a lot of time in and around colleges, and tend to be "outdoorsy".

This is one of those rare articles; a good interview with a unique angle.  I think there are some real underlying gems hinted about working harder to find a middle ground!  Thanks for sharing - nice find, Area Man!
