HELP/THOUGHTS/IDEAS                                                                                                                                                               Our family signed a lease for a pipe line. The landman said what would make you happy. We settled for per foot/pipe/damages this figure was for example only lets say this is an example only not actual $25.00 pipe /$ 25.00 damages. Then the agreement was to include an access road going across a creek and a gravel road approx 100 yds permanent with gravel and an access  gate. The price of acess road was not included in terms but was part of the deal. MY QUESTION IS . NOW the company is saying part of pipeline is thru wetlands and so is the road they want to reroute pipeline/and Totally remove the acess road from the deal and use our driveway and or another tractor path thats available , we have to sign off on these changes .So im thinking i should be reimbursed the cost of the access road and the deviation of the section of pipeline thru wetlands. AM I WRONG ?

What pipeline company and where are you located?

Robert, I believe you should take another look at the entire right of way, if I am reading this correctly. It sounds like the Pipeline Company is wanting to change the agreement?? It is not advantageous to have them using your driveway.

Signing any changes that you don't agree with or get compensation for is not advisable.
