Drilling or leasing activity in Tioga county

Does anyone want to share what is going on in Tioga county. I have undeveloped property there and i have been offered $350 per acre for minerals . I have heard that leases are going for 500 pre acre and 12.5% royalties 5 years.

I was offered 6500 per acre on the barnett shale with a producing well, leased at 23% royalties.

I think it has to do with investment capital. If they have money to work with they will lease and drill. Investers look at gas prices and demand. If you think there is a reason for the economy to improve, expect to see lease prices improve. If you think our government will be forced to slow down spending money we don't have, expect the economy not to improve.

we were offered 2000 an acre an 15%...said no!
