Well, it has been 6 months today since any posts on this group. Is there nothing new to report? See that oil is staying above $40.00 per barrel and that is good. I see gas is also north of $2.00 and that is good. I have not even heard of any new Clinton wells around here, They have lasted over 40 years in part of Trumbull county. Horizontal Clinton wells have been done in other parts of the state recently.

Hoping we don't see a lot of Forced Pooling Applications to the ODNR to pool lands / landowners into substandard tailgate leases. That's always been of serious concern to me - and don't know why it doesn't seem so to everyone else.

Something like that would need to be applied to all Ohio forced pooling / forced unitization applications for any long horizontal bore in any strata / for all pooled acreage amounts - HBP or whatever.
All as it always is, only IMHO Trumbull Quiet over 2 months?tag:gomarcellusshale.com,2015-09-07:2274639:Topic:6959612015-09-07T18:18:35.989ZRobert Bondhttps://gomarcellusshale.com/profile/RobertBond

Ok folks it has been quiet here for over two months. Is any thing going on at all with the Utica?

How about the old Clinton wells, what is going on with them?

See Halcon is still operating their wells.

Let's talk it up a little and see if we can figure out when we think oil and gas prices will improve and hopefully we will then begin to see something happening around this part of Ohio!!!

Chesapeake reports it has 49 wells in production across the Columbiana County, according to ODNR data. The best-producing well in the county, and thus the Utica’s northern tier, was the Briceland Trust 8H well in Franklin Township, which yielded 539.5 million cubic feet of natural gas over 90 days. The company’s Judy Brown 6H well in Hanover Township was the second-best producing well with 425.7 million cubic feet of gas produced. The Tritten well in Center Township proved the third-best and produced 345.9 million cubic feet of natural gas during the quarter, records show. Columbiana County’s largest oil producer was the Altenhof 3H well, which produced 12,543 barrels during the quarter.

Wells in Trumbull County proved far less productive during the quarter, results show. Halcon Resources Corp.’s Kibler well in Lordstown Township proved the most productive with 65.9 million cubic feet of gas and 1,862 barrels of oil, while another well at the pad yielded 48.3 million cubic feet and 1,454 barrels of oil.
Been a month!tag:gomarcellusshale.com,2014-11-25:2274639:Topic:6425032014-11-25T13:25:04.694ZRobert Bondhttps://gomarcellusshale.com/profile/RobertBond

According to the Recorder's office, Chesapeake's primary term (5 years) recently expired on about 500 acres in the NE corner of Trumbull and they "extended the option to renew" the lease for an additional 5 years.
