Chesapeake has contacted us and made several offers. Anyone else being approached in the Cherry Twp. area?
  • Jeff Ottaviano

    Joe,
We are in Cherry Twp. and signed with Elexco (Chief O&G) over a year ago for $2,300/16.5%/5 Years. We were part of a Bradford and Sullivan County Landowners group and had a pretty favorable list of Addendum to the Lease. Where is Cherry Township are you? We are in Cherry Mills.

We are in Satterfield between 220 and 487, near Mildred. You can contact me at JoGaughan@Comcast.net

Chesapeake is approaching people to get right of ways for pipelines outside of Dushore. One land owner was told a pad could start in weeks.

Have been wondering why there is no activity permit wise with Sullivan County, PA
  • Richard Auden

I'm located near Laporte - just curious as to what is going on locally...

The last I heard was November for application of the first permit in Sullivan County.

Have you heard of the offers in Wyoming/Bradford ($5,750 acre-20%)
Lackawanna Co. $6,000/20%. We were just offered 3,000/20% in Cherry Twp. today. What started all this activity? Natural gas has jumped pretty good also ($3.77/ft)!

Bradford County is the hot spot. They are applying for permits in record numbers there as the wells have surpassed initial expectations,

I own 50 acres at the top of the Rock Run road in Cherry Twp. On Sept. 1, 2009 I was offered $1,500 and 12 1/2%. Is there anyone you would recommend I speak with to keep up with the fast pace? Please keep in mind I am very new at this!
