I have acreage in Millwood and was just contacted by Purple Land Management on behalf of Ascent Resources who is looking to perhaps drill a well in Millwood.  KWGD is marketing/representing us and I don't have any details to add yet.  Ascent has normally been further north of us, so I am curious why they are looking at Millwood.  Happy about the possibility though. I will share what I can when I find anything out.  It may not transpire into anything but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

According to the ODNR Oil and Gas viewer site (https://gis.ohiodnr.gov/mapviewer/?config=oilgaswells) it looks like 3 new units are being formed that are at least partially in Millwood Township.  One  (not named) will be just above the J. Anderson well and two (Rock Ridge S and Rock Ridge SW) will be on the Guernsey/Belmont border with only a little acreage in Millwood.  I'm not exactly sure what this means, but only the "rectangle" for the units are colored in.  There are no lines showing the actual well laterals.  Maybe these units are in very early or planning stages.
