Options after primary term expires
Our primary term on our lease is up soon. We just got a check from cheaspeake for the second term of 4 years.
We had a very low lease and only 12.5% royalty. Is there anyway to get out of or renegotiate a better lease? Has anyone had any luck doing this? Thanks

Did any activity take place on your land before they paid you for second term? In other words had they drilled any wells or done anything else on your land when they renewed?
