I visited a EQT drill site this weekend. The ground has been leveled, and I understand that a water line is being constructed to provide the water needed. The site itself is quite impressive.
Search Google Earth (or maps.google.com) for "Knight town rd, shippenville, pa" to see where it's at.
I imagine if that well produces a good amount, then leasing activity will also be boosted.
My inquirey about wells on sardis road was posted in the wrong county group. Inadvertantly I posted it in Clarion county news instead of Westmoreland county news. Sorry

Must be the case, Lance. I've inquired a couple of times in another thread, but no responses on that thread. The price of NG has ticked upward a bit so hopefully it is eventually headed to a level that will bring the the O&G companies back to that county.
I just wanted to let you know about an upcoming Seminar Series through the YPE called Energy Industry Training Series- It’s 12 part series, although you can just attend one or two if you like. The first Seminar is in June, and gives a complete overview of both the Marcellus and Utica plays.
Cx now has over 58,000 acres in Clarion Co to market and several companies have requested information on our offering. Things aren't dead in Clarion Co.
There is no lease yet. Early in the game. Several companies are looking at the data.
Personally, I think they will all wait to see if Shell commits on the cracker plant as the plant would make a huge market for any ethane recovered. Plus, if Shell commits then a lot more pipelines will be built to move gas to market.
I have approximately 180 acres of Oil and Gas interests for sale in Venango County. Properties are split into 7 parcels ranging in size from 4 acres to 100. Located in various townships. Price is lower than you might think. I can sell as a package or individually. PM me for additional information. This discussion is not being started as a pro/con to selling.
According to an O&G lawyer that I spoke with a little while back, not much happening in Clarion due mostly to lack of infrastructure. And now, with a Dem governor and a low NG price, it could be a while until things pick up again.

Does any one know of any new pipelines or ROWs being worked on? Location, size, direction? Owner/company? Thanks for any info you wish to share.
