Things haven't changed a whole lot in Ritchie County lately, but there hasn't been much on this message board in a long time, either. So a quick update is probably in order. Antero and EQT are still working some here, but they haven't been taking a lot of leases lately. They've both focused on Marshall and Wetzel more lately. A reasonable lease price would be in the $3000-$4000/acre and 18% gross, though. Interestingly, we've been able to get gross proceeds for some of our clients out of EQT a little bit lately. Push them for that. Good luck, and let me know if you can do better than I have!
I heard recently that Antero and EQT seem to have given up on any new drilling and leasing in Ritchie and are focusing on Wetzel and somewhat Tyler. However I also heard that HG might be getting more active in Grant district.

EQT has been reorganizing lately, and I haven't seen a new lease come through from them in probably a month, from anywhere. From Ritchie, I'm having a hard time remembering when the last new lease came across my desk. I think you're right that they aren't working so hard in Ritchie any more. They've definitely been working Marshall and Marion as well as the counties you mentioned.
