Saw this on Twitter -- anyone have additional info?
September, 2009 found Fortuna striking a deal with the ''The Friendsville Group'' consisting of 600 landholders in Susquehanna and Bradford counties, Pennsylvania and the New York county of Broome. The company was to pay $5,500/acres on a five year lease with right to extend the lease for an additional three years. Royalties were to be 20% on production. The total deal amounted to $165 million for drilling rights to 30,000 acres in the three counties. C. Warren Trainor, a Philadelphia attorney, represented The Friendsville Group in the negotiation.

    Hi Susan & family,
I was born in Huntington (1951) and lived there for 5 years and then moved with my family to Syosset. My grandfather began the Birchwood Nursing Home in 1946 after moving out from Brooklyn. My father began the Syosset Gospel Church in '57, I joined him as asst. pastor in '76 and have been here ever since.

My wife Dale and I purchased 99 acres in Guilford 5 years ago. We plan to retire there someday. We have a son (just married) and daughter with two children. Looks like you have a beautiful family...God bless you all!

    Hi Susan,
Those four Townships in Chenango with the best gas possibilities (Bainbridge, Afton, Coventry and Guilford) is based on geology. The depth of the Marcellus and total % of carbons, etc. is very good compared with the rest of Chenango which is just O.K.
