Well hi Terry,I was wondering if atlas was still signing contract. My family farm is in Parker twp. in a little town called Elorado.Atlas signed my contract last Aug.But I notice that it finaly got approve in March of this year. you can check on this at the Butler county treasure office under deeds and check on yours as well as your neighbors.I've got serveral neighbor who have also sign with them last year. And I notice you have a company called pc exporation. I was wondering because they ran a pipeline from petrolia to Elorado to one of my neighbor land.I've talk to man in charge of are area at the main office ,and they feel Butler county will be a good drill site. Where not in the main population center. Well I hope that answer some of your question..Keep in tounch, it may seem like a long time for new and this site does help a lot. Good luck, Larry

I've notice that most of lease are offering low lease agreement now. I was lucky to get in when I did , they gave me around $500 a area, but Gastner offer my younger brother $ 60 a acre for three year lease , just a few month ago , so he also holding out. But they only thing most of they lease company got a great deal of leases acre, it hard to see how their going to drill them in the time frame. I put a addulment to where I would have to redo my lease in 5 year, And from the meeting That I watch from Penn State we need to think of that. Most of the southwest Pa was being leased for thousand of dollar for area. And that may be all the money we get for awhile, so waiting may not be a bad ideal. My dad has lease this land for oil for over 30 year with maney company and it yet to be drilled. Who knows maybe the time ripe for us.
